Load Sizes Explained
Over the years, we have found the easiest and most transparent way to sell our firewood is to measure it using builders bulk bags. This way, we can be sure that each load is a standard size based on volume. Load sizes are the following:

| Single Bulk Bag | 1 Bulk bag | Just under 1 metre cubed |
As a comparison with other sellers, our single load would not fit into the back of a pick-up truck, it would spill over with approximately 25% or more not fitting in.
We get as much as possible into the builders bulk bags. The bags themselves measure around 0.9 cubic meters as we heap them above the bag line, however the bags them selves are filled via a conveyor belt and the logs fall into the bag in a random fashion so they are not stacked wall to wall as a solid cube. When you buy a bulk bag of wood from Devon-logs you are buying the area size of a loose packed builders bulk bag and not a solid wall to wall 0.9 solid cube.

Free delivery with 25 miles
Delivery is charged based on distance, so the nearer you live to our office, the cheaper the delivery.
We do not charge more for larger loads – only for distance traveled – so this means that buying in bulk will allow you to save considerably on delivery costs.
